“I finally made it!”Ms. Bianchi, why did you want to lose weight?“It became clear to me that even buying clothes was increasingly a problem. With a size 46/48, you can't just shop in any store you choose to. I went either to H&M or to very expensive boutiques. Of course, I also wasn't exactly happy when I stood in front of the mirror in my bathing suit...” Since when did you have weight problems?“Unfortunately, for as long as I can remember. As a child I was always the fat one. I did my first diet when I was 11 years old. It was a classic attempt through cutting down on calories and practicing sports. After that I tried various diets over and over again. When I was 16 years old, I nourished myself for a couple of weeks on only 300 calories a day until I fit into a size 38. That was followed by the classic yoyo effect. I then had severe weight problems again during my university studies, the many learning curves always seemed to settle onto my hips. I pretty much tried every diet there is, including programs under medical supervision all without long-lasting effect.” Why did you opt for the Rohner Concept in the end?“A colleague of my best friend had lost a great deal of weight using the Rohner Concept. My friend told me about it and I registered for the program the same day. I liked the idea that I would get my own food list aligned to my genetic predisposition. Also the long-term practicability of the concept was an absolute plus for me.” How did you fare with the weight loss process?“I had really sworn to myself that I would follow my list to a tee for at least four weeks. After I got the list, I went home and gave away everything that didn't correspond to my green list. In the beginning, I really had to exercise some discipline in the restaurant, because reaching for the bread basket was a natural reflex for me. The desire for pasta, bread and sweets wore off after about twov weeks, which I never would have thought possible. After the first month I was so motivated, that from that point on I stuck closely to the list and continue to do so today. As soon as I make an exception (vacations, invitations ) I notice that a) the forbidden foods don't taste all that good anyway, b) I feel physically rather unwell. I find it very good that I never have to go hungry and that I never feel bad. During earlier attempts at dieting I was often in a foul mood and suffered real diet depressions. Another great advantage is that one remains 100% effective, because I am very engaged professionally.” How do you feel today?“Buying clothes of course is a real pleasure now! Last summer I bought myself a bikini for the first time in 16 years. Walking up stairs is also a lot less strenuous I don't practice sport, I still don't see the point in it (except for skiing, because only on skis do you get to the really good snow bars &” How do the people around you react?“My boyfriend still likes me ... closest girlfriends all know me already for years, even decades. They are all happy for me and are glad that I have remained the same. Naturally both in my private as well as my professional environment I am often asked about the secret of my success. Many have immediately registered with Dr. Rohner and today are eating according to their own Rohner lists. We exchange recipes and recommend “Rohner”- suitable restaurants to one another.” |
